All through the month of August we will be revisiting some fantastic, deserving projects which displayed all the right characteristics to qualify for our support.

An Lanntair arts centre

Award: £1,340

An Lanntair is an award-winning arts and community centre in Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis. The Foundation is committed to supporting access to the arts in rural communities.

Piping at Forres: The European Pipe Championships

Award: £1,500

The Foundation has long supported the community of Forres as they continue to host the European Pipe Band Championships. We have a particular funding interest in the event’s educational programme.

The Archie Foundation

Award: £10,000

The Foundation has strongly supported the work of Archie in the North of Scotland. We have given substantially to support the development of children’s medical facilities in the Highlands and Moray.
